Editorial policy
Evidence, context and clear attribution.
Our editorial format
We publish original UK-facing explanatory content. An explainer describes a process or helps interpret a topic; it is labelled as such. We do not describe this launch collection as a continuous news wire. Opinion or paid material, if introduced, must be clearly distinguished.
Sources and uncertainty
Articles link to relevant primary sources where available, such as public guidance and statistical publications. We distinguish a source’s statement from interpretation and avoid presenting forecasts as outcomes. Figures used only to illustrate a calculation are marked hypothetical. Important geographical and date limitations are stated.
AI and authorship
The launch content was drafted with AI assistance from public-source material. “Alderwick Journal Editorial” is a publication byline, not a fictitious journalist. No independent human-review process is claimed for this edition. The operator is accountable for deciding what to publish, checking later changes and handling corrections.
Images, quotations and attribution
We use illustrative stock photographs with source links. We do not imply that stock subjects participated in reporting. We do not invent quotations, interviews or endorsements. Third-party text is linked and paraphrased rather than reproduced as an original report.
Commercial separation and updates
Commercial relationships must be disclosed near affected content. The current edition contains no sponsored or affiliate articles. Material factual changes should carry an update or correction note, with the article date adjusted when appropriate. Contact the operator to question a fact or source.
